Can anyone please tell me what kind of starfish this is and if it is reef safe or not??? Thanks!

Not sure but I thought you weren't supposed to expose starfish to air? Hope it's ok, did you catch it or buy it from a store?

I got it off a diver for free... Yeah you should keep them out of water for too long... This was just for a second as it was acclimating and i couldn't get a pic from the top cause of reflections...

Yeah he is doing great!

Just extremely curious as to what type of star it is?!?!

Looks like a nardoa starfish, but there are loads that look like it!

Yeah thats issue i am having too... Will just watch it for a while and see how it goes...
