i like it. down the road if you want to get rid of the hob filter you can get aqua top cf500 canister. it would fit in the cabinet and be much less room on top. it cost around 120$ and its rated for a bigger tank but over filtration has never been a bad thing.

I liked the neon dwarf gourami or the blue gourami and yes I was looking at a canister filter but wasn't sure on how well they worked so I went with two of the emperor 400 bio wheel filters

Tetras, cory cats, barbs, and kuhli loaches like to be in groups each of at least 6.
You could get:
15 neon tetras (I find them easier to care for than cardinals)
8 cherry barbs
6 kuhli loaches
6 peppered cory cats
4 electric blue rams
2 bush nose plecos
2 neon dwarf gouramis

That would be about as much as you could get. The rams can be aggressive so watch out if you decide to get them. And the cherry barbs might nip other fish's fins but usually this isn't a problem.

Pseudomugil thank you so much that helped me alot I was curious the amount I could have in my tank

The cherry barbs and Rams should be fine. The Angels may become the aggressors of the tank in time.

They're only slow moving when being graceful and majestic. When they've got established territories in a tank they'll move like a runaway train to defend their area.
