I now have a 100 gallon tank that I want to use for a planted tank... Would this work? Can I add more fish/shrimp and plants? What light bar should I use?

Blood worms (Smallest size)
Shrimp food (Smallest size)

PLANTS:

4 shrimp

I'm new at this, this'll be my first tank.

I saw your 50 gallon tank thread, is the 100 gallon a typo or are you starting 2 tanks? looks like the same post just different numbers for tank gallons.

It is the same thread opening as on the 50g tank thread and almost the same as the 55g tank thread which is the only one I've responded to.
