I have a friend who has a 75 gallon tank, and he wants me to help him with stocking ideas. However, my idea of cool fish isn't the same as his!

He likes darker blue fish, and would like a lot of activity and color in the tank.
He had a Jack Dempsey before, but I think he wants to go with more of a community tank...at least along the lines of groups of smaller fish versus 1-2 larger ones.
He saw a pic of Rams and likes those... And he liked the Dolphin Cichlid, but those get too large.
I'm not experienced w/ cichlids, but perhaps for color, a cichlid community would be good for him?

I was thinking about some gouramis, 1 or 2 schools of tetras, school of cories, ottos or plecos for algae, maybe some rams, angels....

Any ideas are welcome!!

depending on your other choices..I've been partial to Cardinal tetras..bright red and blue...very nice in a school of 10 or more.
but not a good choice with larger fish, they will be dinner
