Stocking a 80 gallon bowfront

Hey guys,


So we are redoing our 80 gallon bow front, and my girlfriend really wants mbuna cichlids, but I really want a planted tank.

Any ideas for a well stocked tank with bright colors and fish that won't eat my plants?

I really have no plans for this tank yet so let me know your opinions! And maybe a website to help me stock the tank!

idk, i have never done a planted tank or an 80 gallon!
I would help you if I could, but I just don't know enough.

Yeah but I have done cichlids in the past and I want something new! I have never done a planted tank and it excites me just thinking about it.

I don't want mollies, neons and guppies so I really have no idea what I want in this tank.

The only thing for sure is I'm dieted and planting it! Don't care what the girlfriend says
