Stocking Questions

Dealing with a smallish algae bloom but I think I solved the problem. Next step is stocking my 55 gallon planted tank!

Thinking a harem of Apistos as the highlight. Probably a viejta, agassazi, or hongsloi. If you have a favorite small apisto let me know!

The real question is ths top dweller... I am torn on what school/shoal fish to get. I am thinking it is between these 3 groups -

6-8 praecox or dwarf neon rainbowfish
6-8 gertrude or forktail blue eye rainbows
12-16 Emerald Dwarf Rasbora

Just let me know your experiences with these fish! Which pop out or are the most exciting?

I'll round the stock out with a few plecos and a group of 6-8 dwarf chain loaches.

I've heard great things about Hongsloi. I personally kept a pair of Apistogramma Orange Flash with a group of Brown tail Pencil fish. If you plan on breeding I would not add any specie of Pleco.
