Stop eating his algae!

lol so my mollies are eating the algae wafers I got for my CAE, since there isnt any established algae in the tank.
How in the world do i get them to quit it? I've even put my hand in the tank to separate them, but the CAE wasnt getting it lol..

drop one in on one side of the tank for the mollies and then while they are distracted drop another one for the CAE.

I guess I could, but the thing is, when my Mollies eat this stuff, it makes them really just....bloated...lol....on top of that, it seems like a good idea, but it wouldnt work with my Mollies. They will notice me putting both in, and theyll go for both...

Have you tried doing it at night time?

Yes, these fish are nocturnal. They do the majority of their eating at night. I feed my nighttime critters right before I go to bed.

maybe you need more veggy in their diets for the mollies.
