My friend just got a hippo tang and acclimated him for a long time. He tested water parameters on both his and the water the fish came in. It's in a 75 gallon now. It's a very small tang. He keeps wedging gunsel in rock and "playing dead" any suggestions on wat to do?

Thats perfectly normal for these tangs to do that. I know, sounds odd but thats what they do. lol
Mine still does that like 5 years later, freaks me out now and again but I am kinda used to it.

Ok thank you so is he stressed? Or just being weird? Lol

It's normal behavior for them. So i would say no, he is not stressed just acting normal, at least for him. lol Mine will wedge himself sideways in between rocks, he has been doing that since the day i got him. Just make sure he has good hidey hole spots so he feels secure and feed lots of greens like seaweed off a clip. other than that he should be fine.
Good luck with him. :)
