Stringy thingy?

They are string like things that come from the base of the rock or the sand, about 3" long, Max. They are the color of the sand or a little darker, almost barbed like with a rounded tip?

They also come out of the rock.

Brittle star legs?

I don't think so, because I have some hitchhiker baby bristle starfish in my tank already. They seem to be just coming outta the rock and or sand bed by themselves

If not brittle stars the only thing I can think of is spaghetti worms. Google them and see what you think.

I have a few of those also, not sure what they are other than a type of worm.

I have them in my tank on some rock , but not sure if good or bad , I know my Zoa did not like it when one touched it.
