I walked by my 30 gallon yesterday and at a glance realized one of my angels was MIA. Upon further investigation I found him wedged in between a peice of slate and the back glass. He must have been going for some food and got himself stuck...
I reached in right away and pulled the slate away from the glass which freed him up to my delight. Then I noticed his side. All tore up is the best way to describe it. No redness fortunately, but a number of his scales were scraped off leaving some white-ish parts. I dosed melafix and plan to for the next week, is this enough? Are there any side effects to this type of injury I should be looking out for?
