Sump design - flex tube vs PVC

I am planning a sump and i was going to use UV resistant flex tube instead of PVC. Any comments.

It just seems more convenient to use flex tune and hose clamps instead of pvc, just incase i need to do a teardown.

Any thoughts.

I have the clear tube on both my tanks, no issues and they have been running for years. Quick, easy and cheaper.
