sump?

Is there anything wrong with having a sump the same size or bigger then the main tank?

I wouldnt think so it makes more water volume but if its larger wouldnt you want to use that as a display tank instead?

Yah i know but goin to start with a 55gal then move up to 125gal and i just got another 55 that i want make a sump out of for the 125. Then i would like to eventually put a 90 or something like that for a sump for more volume

Ah I see that makes perfect sense I would do it that way with your future plans in mind
