so i run the standard u tube overflow into an amiracle mudd filter, my problem is that it seems like i dont have enough flow into the sump, so how can i get more flow into the sump and still keep a high water line in the tank?

get a faster return pump. But dont go overboard and get one that overpowers the overflow.
