Hi having problems with swords, the leaves keep slowly going grey then transparent and rotting away.
Recently contacted aquarium shop who recommended a plant food, been feeding daily as instructed but no improvement.
All my other plants are doing great.
Any advice would be much appreciated thanks.

What are you feeding it? I have swords and they are doing great on root tabs.
It could also be that it is going through it's "ugly" phase. How long have you had it?

Hi Sara, I am feeding with Pro Flora Ferrapol 24.
It's a one drop per day liquid feed, the people at the shop told me to use it.
I was buying tabs but they said use this instead, I have had swords about a year but they never appear to be suitable to my tank and this problem is always there.
There is vigorous growth but the leaves just dont last long.

Swords are DEFINITELY very HEAVY RROOT feeders so root tabs are a MUST. A water column fert is ok but just doesn't cut it for Swords as the only source

Definitely agree with earthmother. Also cut off any dead leaves so they don't dirty your water.
