My clown and one of my damsels from time to time back up to one another and wave their tails rapidly towards the other. Only for a few seconds. Then they separate. ... seems to be maybe a territorial type thing ... not really sure. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you!

Aggression between the two as they are setting up their territories. How big of a tank is this and how much rock is in the system? Damsels, which clowns are as well, are mean when it comes to establishing territories. The more space available and the more places in the rock open for hiding and setting up territories will lessen aggression.
