What kind of fish would go well with my 2 convict chiclids? I have a 55 gallon tank?

I have a 75 w 4 cons a jack Dempsey and a blood parrot you'd be fine with a single jack or green terror you could do a festae or red terror just one of course convicts are small but pretty ferocious lil bastards so just make sure you put something in with the same aggressivness but only one fish if its gonna be in the 8-10 inch range believe it or not a 55 isn't really a big rank in the cichlid world. Oh also you could go with fire mouths they're pretty I would say a severum but they aren't really very aggressive

Skip the festae....might end up bad and they can reach up to 18-20". Way to big for a 55!

Fire mouths are a good choice. Maybe one JD and a pleco. Give them ALOT of hiding places and places for breeding. Convicts breed like crazy!!

Flower pots are a good choice. The ceramic ones. Break it up and lay it down so it creates a hiding place. The pleco will be a nice addition to be a bottom feeder. If you go with a pleco get at least one piece of driftwood.

Some slate works well to create tunnels and caves.

What type of filtration are you running?

Good luck.

I have the one they gave built into the tank
Jebo tank filter
