I was reading up on hypersalinity dips on live rock, and was wondering on a better way... I've heard 1.035 to 1.040 salinity for one minute, and 1.030 salinity for no more than ten minutes, but I thought to myself: Why not start with 1.030 to 1.035, and after everything has jumped off the live rock, you move the live rock into a container of regular aquarium water (Straight from your tank to make things easier), and then use freshwater to lower the salinity for the hitchhikers down to 1.026 before picking which ones to keep?
Edit: Sorry, realized I put this in the wrong forum.
