API is the only kit I can find . I don't think it will read cupramine though. Does anyone know for sure?

I've used the api kit to test cupramine but salifert, seachem, and red sea are suppose to be better

You will not get an accurate reading with the API kit. It's made to measure chelated copper. Cupramine is non-chelated copper. You need to use Salifert, RedSea or Seachem test kits to properly measure it.

Hmmm I can go to the far Lfs and get a redsea kit and then return the API . Is it worth all that ?

Hey Honda just for the hell of it for my own knowledge I contacted seachem and they replied that the api test kit will test for cupramine and the test would be accurate.
