I'm about to remodel my kitchen. I'm going to build kitchen counters around my 135 gal fish tank. I guess I'm going to have the bottom of the tank drilled leading to a sump. If I take a 30 or so gallon trash barrel, and keep water mixed in there with the salt., will I be able to take this water and put into my sump every couple weeks?

Also will I need to do anything special on the inside of my cabinetry so that the moisture from the sump which will be underneath won't ruin anything?

Trying to do this right. Please help

Hmmm, kitchen, tank, cleaning chemicals, food, heat, other stuff. If it were me, I don't think I would attempt it....unless you do some sort of "tank in the wall, between rooms" would be really cool....

I would imagine moisture could be a problem. Dont know how to tell you the solution though. I am very interested in seeing this when it is done. Good Luck.
