Our Molly has not been well now for 3 weeks and has really gone down hill today. Hubby wants to put her down as we can't stand to watch her sadness any long. He plans on doing the ice water way. Do you just put a bowl of water in the freezer and wait for it to get a thin layer of ice before dropping her in it? How long will it take once she hits the water?

Ya I'm not going that way. Can't imagine putting her in alcohol and burning her poor gills and her suffering at all first.
