I Just recently bought a catfish to eat the algae that had been accumulating on my log and around the tank. I have a 30 gallon with a log cave in the center where my red tail black sharks inhabits. The catfish did an amazing job cleaning all the algae but he pooped so much! So I did an extra gravel cleaning after his initial go around the tank but I also noticed he likes to stay in the log during the day. I can see poop in the log too and am wondering if my black shark is gona get sick. I cleaned out the log once already but looks like it keeps coming back. Everyone seems to be ok but just wondering if i'll have to pull the big log out every week. Is his poop not as bad since he's eating algae? I wish my red tail would kick him out the log so he doesn't keep poopin in there but he's a gentleman.
