Trimming wysteria

Ive been reading a bunch of peoples opinions of how to trim this plant, and im a bjt confused. If someone could clarify how i should trim it, and were at on the plant, were i should re plant it, or float the top, it would be greatly appreciated. I just bough the plant about 4 days ago, and its starting to grow out of the water. I have low light, and i just tarted dosing excel about a week and a half ago.

Trim it wherever you want and plant it wherever you want. That stuff will grow from a .000001" section of root. Before long, you'll be wondering how to get it out of your tank.
