My sister brought me a crab she found while cleaning out a 125 Gallon tank that had the pump shut down for a year..the thing pinched her *laughs* anyway me being somewhat new to having a saltwater tank she thought it would be a nice addition to my tank and dumped it in. Found it has eaten my brittle sea star and some of my snails. I am going to put some pictures up as we did corral it and keep it fed just not letting it run loose in the tank.

Thank in advanced for any feed back

do you have a sump or refugium? you could let it live in there. i cant help with ID,im a total freshy, but it looks cool.

Not yet my husband is going to build it when he builds the new stand for the tank.

Usually pointy claws means they will eat whatever fish, snails, etc they can catch. It's not what you would consider reef safe.
