Unhealthy water?

I have had this tank for about a year my water levels are good except I realized this brown color on my water heater is this ok do I have to worry about it it also seems that it's eating it away. I also realized that it looks like somthing was eating away at my rocks to should I be worried?

Looks like mineral deposits on the heater. I could be wrong though. Can you wipe or scratch it off? MIneral deposits will come off if scraped or scratched. If its algae it will be easier usually to get it off.

on the heater looks like snail eggs to me, if you have those.
