Hi all,

Going away for a week this summer and leaving fish for first time. I've been told I can simply feed up until departure and do not need to worry about any feeding while away. This sounds slightly suspect, but has come on good authority.

Plan to clean filter as usual and test water day before as well.

Can I have your opinions?

I have 64 litre freshwater tank current population:

5 black ruby barb ( 3 males / 2 females)
2 rams
1 bristle-nose catfish
6 neon tetras
2 loaches
8 shrimp
Several assassin snails

Thanks,
Neill

What do you feed them? I went on vacation last summer and just put a flake/pellet mixture in an automatic feeder.

I feed them Tetra flake daily with occasional no feed days.
