Hi, everyone. Two days ago I noticed that my pleco is missing, I searched everywhere though my tank is heavily planted and it's not an easy task to search for death fish. I did not find a corpse and just left it this way. Today I looked for my female swordtail and it wasn't there I unrooted some of my plants to get a better view but there was no corpse again. My tank is covered and the only thing that I can suspect is my black ghost knife. But he has lived there for 5 months and hasn't eaten anybody plus I don't think he is able to consume 2 inch swordatil.

Do you have any suggestions?????

Have you really looked through every area of your tank? Once dead fish start decompose, it will become even harder to find it. You may even experience an algae boom as a result of that. Better to remove it as soon as possible.

Are any of your fishes flashing by any chance?
