We have a 80 gal cichild tank, 15 fish some 5" some smalle, did a water change a couple of days ago and added too much of this algae Elimator didn't read the instructions right. We didn't really have a bloom, we have done several water changes trying to get this stuff out of water, not touching the rocks because fish are already laying on bottom hiding stressed & and not eating for 2 days. We have lost one and dont want to loose any more. Is there anything else we can do?

Do immediate 50% WC followed by another an hour later. You Overdosed the algae eliminator, its toxic to fish if you go over the prescribed dose by even a ML. The best thing for alge is a simple scratchpad. If its growing on your plants i can understand tho, did the same thing myself, like these plants cost 7 bucks each and a couple months their coverd in hair algae. So you want to kill the algae fast and good and dump a little extra algae clear in there and your fish are acting sick. Change the water as fast as you can. If you have carbon add it.

Algae eliminator will kill fish even if you use the right dosage. Get a BN pleco or 2 to keep the algae cleaned up after it starts growing again.
