I want to start using seachem prime but I'm unsure of the dosage. I have a 20 gal tank so according to the dosage when I do a 25% wc I add .5 ml to the 5 gal I'm adding? Or do I add 2 ml to 5 gal for whole tank? Can you dose too much???

If you are using a 5 gallon bucket to add the new water just put .5ml in the bucket. It's best if you put it in before you add the water, that way it mixes well. If you are using a smaller bucket, say 3 gallons, put .25ml in and fill 2.5g twice.

If you are using a water changing system, and adding water directly from the tap through a hose use a full 2ml dose.

You can dose too much, but it's safe to use up to 5x the recommended dosage if you are having an ammonia/nitrite emergency.

If you can get ahold of some sort of eye dropper, Prime is dosed at 2 drops per gallon. You can always use 3 of you are paranoid.
