Water levels tested

Hi guys I've got my 20 gallon long tank ready to be cycled I've done my initial water checks

PH 8.2
KH 196ppm
GH 232ppm using API test kits and GH /KH Kit

I was just after some suggestions on stocking this, I've fallen in love with orange Cory's but I'd love to hear people's suggestions.

The aquarium is not Cycled? I ask because you stated the aquarium is ready to be Cycled.
Corydora are great peaceful catfish but some species can be a challenge to keep so do thorough research prior to getting them.

No Ive not cycled it yet I just wanted to do my initial base readings I guess my question was more aimed at what species would be better suited to those readings.

okay I got you. Your PH is would be better fit for African or Central American fish imo.

Your pH will change over time and settle down. Remember your filter will take 3-8 weeks to cycle before any fish should be added. You can check you pH then and adjust if needed.
