I have these two items on my rock. Is the anemone looking thing aiptasia? Second, I have this colony of these purple looking mini palm trees things the picture is horrible but hopefuly you can help!!!

Yup... number one is aiptasia.

And you're right - the second picture isn't the best in the world. I can see where I'm supposed to be looking, but can't make out any detail. Do they look like this...

If so, it would be Sansibia - a type of octocoral, related to Anthelia.
 
Does the purple with stuff with green "palm tree" polyps look like coraline algea at night and little green stars during the day? If so it may be green star polyps.green star polyps.jpg
 
also the first pick is an aptaisa you should definetly get rid of it. I've seen tanks taken over by them and the can reproduse quickly. Also, they will sting your corals.
 
second one looks like a type of orange ball anemone i had from local fish store unkowingly
