what is this hitchhiker under my star polyps? And what do I do with it?

Hard to see on my phone but look up palythoa on google. If that's it its a free polyp. Nuthin to do but let it grow!

I agree. A free Palythoa. The question is which one will grow faster. The Paly has little chance of hurting the star polyps.

The star polyps are really aggressive in the sense of how fast they grow they can easily take over and out grow zoas and pallys so I'd say the little fella is on borrowed time ! Try to keep them on the sand bed away from other rocks etc ! Here's mine after just 3months !
