It looks like a baby bristle worm. Good scavengers.

Yes. It will cause no harm, unless you touch it with bare fingers. It is a relative of the earth worm. It has tiny spines head to tail which it uses for defense from predators. It will feel like you have fiberglass in your hand if you get stuck.
