What is wrong with platy? help!

I just looked over at my tank and saw that my platy's fins were clamped. He then started swimming around crazily in circles and flipping around, but then settled down on the bottom and stopped moving. I immediately moved him to his own tank. What is wrong? he looked okay earlier, this has only been an issue for the past few hours at most.

his fins are no longer clamped but he still occasionally has a spaz out in the bowl he's in. hoping there's nothing wrong.

Check temperature might be low and also do water change if necessary.
