Well I've been working on breeding a few different fish, I lost my first batch youngins in my 30, pretty sure my bluefin killifish had eaten them. Went out and bought a 2.5 gallon tank (Might need to get a 5.5gallon soon) to start getting the babies out of my 30gallon

I found my black molly was giving birth in my tank after I bought her, and so was my pineapple swordtail managed to get the babies out but the moms passed a few weeks later.

Also to my surprise while doing a waterchange and checking my filter I found a cluster of Mystery snail eggs, not sure if it was my golden ones or black ones that laid them.

I got neon tetras and least killifish about to lay some eggs too :)

Sounds like time to establish as few breeding tanks. Wait for Petco to have a $1 per gallon and get 20L or 40B.

Yeah I'm planning on it :) Two of my friends work there I usually stop in to talk aquariums with them and they give me heads up on the sales they'll be having or what they plan on ordering.

Got a hang on breeding box from my dad recently, got it all set up and ready to go.

Here's a trick a friend of mine uses for his swordtails. Go and get a 5 gallon bucket throw in an airstone. Right when mom is all squared off and ready to drop, put her in the bucket and float a ton of filter floss. When the babies are born they will swim up through the floss out of moms sight and she can't eat them.

Yeah, I have a bunch of breeding tanks for the fish, I've throw a few in my hanging breeder box, and put a breeder cage in my 30 gallon, I'm working on replacing my 2.5 gallon with a 5.5 gallon and moving the 2.5 gallon elsewhere maybe using it for shrimp breeding.

I just got back from fort lauderdale sadly couldnt go dip netting but found some plants and just set up a dirted tank outside to get the plants growing as well.

Merry Holidays to all! My snails left me a gift of two more egg sacs :p I'll get pics up when I can

Another surprise, my first eggsac just hatched :D
