what might this be?

Trying to figure out what this is ...its white slimy type material that has a hole in it and a tenticle growing from near the hole..I have a few of them that have just started to show up? hope picture shows up?

if you're using a digital camera try to find a macro or "food" setting, anything for close up pictures
