What should i feed ghost, amano, and other Shrimp?

I have a bunch of Ghost Shrimp leftover from a Betta tank. The Betta died after a couple of years, but the shrimp population has exploded! I just throw a few fish food flakes in. Sometimes I throw in an algae wafer, but they do not seem to be particular. I do keep up with water changes which is important for shrimp.

They eat the left over fish food. Shrimp aren't very picky. You can actually see them eating fish flakes that land on the floor. If you want to make natural food for them you could leave the tank on for a while and algae will slowly grow.
