Aquarium Advice Regular
Not really new to aquarium keeping but have taken much more of an interest in it lately. I have a 55 gallon that I just completely redid this weekend. Took out all the gravel and fake crap and put in nice white sand and natural rocks etc... Everything looks and is running well.
Anyway, right now I have a large ~16" pleco and a large Texas cichlid. They have been in the tank for years and neither are aggressive. I'm looking to add some more fish to the tank now that I have natural hiding spots and a good looking tank again. I like ciclids a lot but I don't know if a couple would fare well with whats already in the tank. Any suggestions on types of fish that would be good to add to the tank at this point? I'm only looking to add maybe two more fish for right now. Would any type of cichlid be a good addition considering the two fish that are already in there? Any other suggestions? Thanks!
