What type of cichlid is easy to breed I have got a 45 gallon and I would like to breed can anyone name some nice looking fish that are easy to breed

depends on your definition of easy. IMO, most any cichlids will breed farily easy. Its raising the fry that gets hard. For the easiest to raise, I'd have to say shell dwellers and/or brichardi

Are Hongi easy to breed?
Labidochromis sp. hongi, like most other mbuna's, are fairly prolific (with matured females capable of producing fry several times a year).
They're polygamous breeders ('harem' breeders) and do best in one male per several (2-4) females gender ratio's.
