You need to go out and buy the API Freshwater Master Test Kit. We need your leaves of Ammonia, Nitrite, and Nitrate. Red blotches could be Ammonia poisoning especially if the fish is gasping. We need pictures and levels ASAP. If they were my fish I would do a 50% water change just encase.

My pellets are from 'super amazon', hai Feng. It says for tropical and goldfish and it enhances colour. I'm using my eyes as tester, no floating bubbles means no ammonium and nitrate right??

That's not reliable, IMO get the test kit like recommended.
