Whats wrong with my lemon tetra

My lemon tetra has a large white spot on its back on both sides near his fin what is it. It has gotten significantly larger in the last few days. Will it spread to the other tank mates.

Params are good 0.0.5.8

I did have an ammonia spike two days ago but it's all good now.

His entire back and sides are now white am starting to become red. I really need help I don't know what to do.

So sorry. Not sure why no one responded. I am just now seeing this but I don't have any experience with this type of fish. Again sorry this happened. Hope your others don't get it as well.

My neon tetra now has a white patch. What should I do.

Looks like a fungal infection I've lost neons to this but not my lemons their one of my tougher fish

Should I quarantine him use meds salt heat etc

Probably in the whole tank now, treat with a broad spectrum med like Seachem Kanaplex and do regular water changes.

I added some API fungus cure that I already had I will see what happens with that.
