Petco is having another dollar per gallon sale and I'd like to get another tank. I want a larger tank and I was wondering what you guys would choose between a 40 breeder or a 55? I want a FW, planted community tank and I can't decide which would be better. Input is appreciated!

40 breeders have a better foot print, and are better for planting IMO.
I am thinking I may have to grab one for myself and one for work (I want to move some fish they have in a smaller tank). I guess I just need to figure out lighting and a lid. Do I even need a hood/lid? I have researched and they are difficult to find for a 40 breeder.
