I have a white cottony patch at the base of some anubias attached to driftwood. It is not on a fish and none of my fish seem to have any problems. All of my parameters are good. Anybody have any ideas what it could be? I do seem to remember an algae wafer landing in that exact spot several days ago, but I assumed it had been eaten or dissolved. Anyway, any thoughts?

Probably a little fungal growth maybe from the extra nutrients of the algae wafer. I would rub it off and watch it.

Sometimes driftwood will develop a white film over it and it will take some time for it to go away.
