White fungus?

So I just upgraded a 10 gallon to a 20 gallon long moved everything inside the old tank into the new OnePlus new substrate and new Aqua soil and new big pieces of Driftwood that I did not boil...heavily planted with low light plants parameters are perfect no nitrites no ammonia water temp is 80 I have one beta 6 tetras 3 Cory catfish And1 endler..and today 2 nerite snails.
The day before yesterday the day after I set up the 20 gallon the white fungus was everywhere on the plants the walls floating through the water and on the Driftwood I've been doing water changes everyday and everyone I've talked to said it's safe just to leave it be but I wanted to hear your opinion. It's slimy white cotteny and is way worse in one corner where the new driftwood is. There was a guppy grass like plant in the pic that was absolutely covered in it so I threw those out to b safe. I've got 2 cycled sponge filters as of 1 month and about 6 days. That was transferred with everything from the 10 gallon. And it seems like that wall in the pic that the driftwood is touching is the worst. Also the filter in that corner is covered way worse than down at the other end

I would manually clean it up. Take stuff out, clean it off thoroughly with a toothbrush or something, put it back. Syphon out what you can.

Its probably just things settling down in a new tank, things take a while to balance out, you have new driftwood, new substrate etc, bacteria and mould can explode in growth due to high nutrients in a newly established tank. Might take a while for it to clear up with repeated cleanings, but these things are usually harmless, just unsightly.

Your tank has been set up a couple of days? Did you do anything to help out the cycle to establish in your new tank?

I just moved all the old substrate in mesh bags and 2 cycled sponge filters the fish store said it would be enough

Another question about it so I just removed the mesh bags of gravel that I had weighing down the two new pieces of large wood and I realize that the white fungus is only on one piece of the wood that's where it's all coming from especially in the corner where that piece of wood is touching the walls everything is covered in it even the darker piece of wood on top of the white fungus one is not nearly as bad as that piece I wonder why

Im sure someone, somewhere, at some time, has had a mouldy/fungal growth on their driftwood that was harmful, but that would be very unusual.

If you are concerned, remove the wood, boil it. Remove everything affected from the tank and bleach treat it before re-setting everything up.

I cant tell you how risk averse you need to be, all i can say that it is normally harmless.
