I have had a male betta for about a year in a 5 gallon tank by himself. He has had a bump on his side for a couple of months and I have tried to find out what it is, but still have no clue. I do weekly water changes of about 25% with a larger 50% water change once a month. The ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels are 0, the water is about 76 degrees, and the pH is about 7.0. I feed him about 7 Omega One betta pellets once a day. He has never been super active, mostly laying around on the ground or in his floating log. I just want the best for my baby, but I don't know what to do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It looks just like a cut. Might just scraped himself the wrong way one something. It should heal up on its own
