Can anyone tell me what this white stuff around the mouth of my red rainbow fish may be and how to get rid of it? ImageUploadedByAquarium Advice1390603821.789555.jpg

A good all around remedy that is good for all fish is to increase temp a couple degrees and add 1 tsp salt per gallon. Do water changes every 3-4 days about 30-25%, keep water in pristine condition. I had a white fluff kinda thing on a Cory cat and it took awhile to get rid of but that's all I did. Its much less aggressive and easier on fish. Just make sure they keep eating.

I forgot to mention yo not use iodized salt. Kosher works well.
