Hi all. I’ve just noticed what look like white spots on my filter inlet. Any ideas what it is and what to do about it? I thought I’d generally been pretty good at doing partial water changes each week along with vacuuming up their waste etc.

Water readings from the API master freshwater test kit are:
Ph - around 7.6
Ammonia - 0 ppm
Nitrite - 0 ppm

Thanks!

Yup I have 6 or 7 of them! Didn’t think about that!

Definitely nerite snail eggs then. You have to manually pick them off or just get used to them. I use a cheap set of dental tools from poundworld.

In freshwater they wont hatch.
