White stripe on cherry shrimp

I have noticed that some of my more mature female cherry shrimp have a pronounced white stripe on their back that runs from head to tail.

Has anybody had this occur?

Yes! I took a poll on another list as well, and apparently it's not unusual.

One of mine has a white "belt" around its tail...I think they all have slightly different markings. Makes it fun since that way it's easy to tell them apart. They are cute little guys!

Several of mine have it too. Checking on other forums, it seems to be normal. Beautiful snails BTW... have any extras?
