We want to buy 2 tomato clowns and a yellow tang... Who should go first?

We already have 3 chromis (that were getting rid of) 2 firefish, 2 scissor tails 1 six line wrasse and 1 diamond goby.

I say the yellow tang.

A yellow tang needs much more room and they stress easy so you could end up battling something like ich, tangs are prone to ich for some reason.

Is it the color of the tang you like? Also the clowns are very aggressive.

I know of one tomato clown that has a 75 gallon tank to himself nothing else is safe in its tank. The fish is over 25 years old so nothing is going to make it change. To reach into the tank they have to use a net to shield their hand from attack.:2gunfire:

you ever consider a kole eye tang? that might work in a 55G

A kole would probably be the only tang you could keep in a 55. I have heard enough from the experienced members on this site and don't enough research to agree that 6ft. should be the smallest tank for keeping any tangs happy and healthy.
