Hi everyone,
Why my honey gouramis die one after the other (one every 4-5 days)??!!!???
here is my tank setup.
65G planted tank with some amazon swords and melon swords.
Eheim 4 canister filter.
It's being running since the beginning of the year.
I have a school of 8 harlequin rasboras, 14 rummy nose tetras, 7 large amano shrimps, 1 zebra loach.
substract is eco-complete covered with Fluval stratum. This keeps the PH to 6.8-7 consistently.
Ammonia, and nitrite were tested by LFS and they are 0.
I bought a batch of 6 honey gouramis, and 4 died one after the next (never 2 at the same time!!!). The LFS was kind enough to replace them for free. guess what..??? it didn't stop. When they are dying, they always go to a very specific corner of the tank which has no plant. All other fish are just fine, and I don't see any signs of bullying.
Has any one experience anything like this? I'm down to 2 gouramis and one of them is showing signs of unhealthy behavior, so a total of 8 gouramis have died!!
any ideas?
