Will a single cardinal hook up with Neons?

Over the last week I have lost all but 1 of my cardinals. Im in the process of getting my tank stable and getting rid of ICH but in the process I decided I did not want to spend the money on getting 5 more cardinals but instead was wondering if my single cardinal would school with a new school of Neons?

Thoughts?

He should school with them no problem. My glowlights and neons school together quite often

+1 My Cardinals won't have anything to do with my Neons but a mate of mine his do.
